A Sensory Room is a designated place in which people can seek sensory stimulation or relief. Equipped with comfortable furniture, pillows, tranquil music, subdued lights, and fidget tools, Sensory Rooms provide individuals with a calming atmosphere. People are encouraged to visit a Sensory Room to relax, focus, reduce stress and/or anxiety, and cope with sensory overload. In particular, Sensory Rooms offer substantial benefits to individuals with sensory processing disorders, ADHD, ASD, and/or anxiety disorders. Overall, anyone can benefit from a Sensory Room's peaceful environment.
